What if an angel offered a choice between a lifetime of happiness or fame and fortune as a result of expressing  art? That is the question that Margaret (Sarah Storjohann, Barre), a poet, writer, and English professor, must face in this World Premier play by Vermonter Mary Pratt. Pem (Susan Lonyd, Fayston), a fallen angel chosen by God (Cynthia Seckler, Fayston) and Satan (Gabrielle Tamasi, Barre) themselves to settle this wager, comes to earth to find an artist to pose this question to, with admittance to heaven and wings or hell and a flamethrower on the line for Pem. The show also features Sarah DeBouter (Berlin), Wes Olds (Graniteville), and Carrie Phillips (Waterbury). Bridget Edwards (Winooski) is the Stage Manager and the show is directed by Doug Bergstein (Waitsfield).
