Special Event at Inklings Children’s Books

Inklings welcomes back Miss Northern Vermont’s Teen, Mina Smith, to Saturday story time on May 11th at 10:30am, for a reading of THE BUTTERFLY TREE by Myrna P. Tesoro.
Set in a fantasy garden, The Butterfly Tree is a retold tale on the theme, “Treat others how you want to be treated.” Following the reading, children will have the chance to create butterflies of their own!
Mina Smith created her nonprofit, Love Your Neighbor VT, to help challenged, vulnerable, and homeless people from all walks of life. She is passionate about educating others on safety and care for children, and is part of the Miss Vermont and Miss America Scholarship Organization.
