For those interested, ash tree identification and tree inventory tool training is occurring at Chase Brook Town Forest on German Flats Road, Fayston (across from Fayston Elementary school).
Inventory volunteers can be those comfortable with ash tree identification, with working outside, with working with tablets and smartphones, or even just comfortable organizing others in service to their community. As a team, we’ll have the skill sets needed to perform a digital rapid roadside ash inventory training. Training by Joanne Garton, division of urban & community forestry. Joanne Garton | Technical Assistance Coordinator, Vermont Agency of Natural Resources, Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation, Urban & Community Forestry Program
