Pianist Claire Black: “Forests & Fairy Tales”
October 20 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Pianist Claire Black creates a musical space for imagination and reflection with works by Schumann, Korngold, Janáček, and Bortkiewicz. Evocative titles depict ancient myths, wilderness and weather, flora and fauna. Listeners are invited to receive this imagery–through the distinct sound world of each composer represented–for what it is, and for what it might symbolize.
Suggested Donations: Adults $25 / Kids $5
Half of all audience donations will go to Christ Episcopal Church to assist with the cost of their newly acquired Yamaha piano.
