Geology Event at Mad River Glen! Family-Friendly
October 5 @ 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm
Join us on October 5th for an engaging presentation by Greg Walsh of the U.S. Geological Survey. From 1:00-1:45 pm at the Mad River Glen Basebox. Families can dive into Stark Mountain’s geologic history with interactive activities like visualizing Earth’s timeline and piecing together the Pangaea supercontinent. Perfect for kids 5 and up, this event also features new geology signs along the mountain’s snowshoe trails, and families can ride the single chair to view the foliage.
