Avi Salloway is an acclaimed musician, activist, and educator. He grew up learning music from American folk legends, Pete and John Seeger, and from an early age, was exposed to the power of music to bring people together. Salloway is the bandleader for Billy Wylder, has co-written, produced, and recorded on 15 albums and performed over 1500 concerts across six continents. He also toured for many years in Bombino’s band, the Tuareg guitar hero from Niger. Highlight performances include Coachella, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center.
