Steven Yardley is a folk rock troubadour, and bluesman that howls with a harmonica and a six-string. Yardley has spent years honing his craft on the guitar: slide, alternate tunings, flatpicking and fingerpicking. He traces the rock n’ roll songbook from the Mississippi Delta, Highway 61, Appalachia, and Brit Invasion to the more offset sounds of the 90’s – 2010’s indie movements. Lyrically, Yardley is storyteller, a surrealist, and prolific—penning hundreds of songs since he learned to write. While his material is mostly original, he enjoys crafting new interpretations of familiar favorites.
