Inklings is so excited to welcome author – and Waitsfield native – Kate Hosford on Sunday, May 19th at 10am for a reading of her brand new book, YOU’LL ALWAYS BE MY CHICKADEE.

This beautiful picture book weaves together the wonders of nature and a parent’s devotion in one glorious day of outdoor exploration. It’s an unforgettable ode to the bond between caregiver and child.

Following the reading, Kate will lead children through a very special Chickadee craft!

KATE HOSFORD grew up in Waitsfield, Vermont, and attended Amherst College. In 2011, Kate completed her MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Kate is the author of six picture books and two poetry collections, garnering awards such as an American Library Association Notable Book and a New York Times Best Illustrated Book. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her family.
