Children’s Poetry Workshop at Inklings Children’s Books!

What is poetry? What are the rules (if any)? Can I write a poem? Writer Erika Nichols-Frazer is leading a poetry workshop for young people curious about this beautiful art form that people have expressed themselves with for thousands of years.
Erika will share examples of different types of poetry, talking about the different approaches of each writer. She’ll also give everyone the opportunity to write something of their own and also write something as a group!
RECOMMENDED AGE: 8 – 12
