Climate and Ecology Expert Series: Bear Signs Snowshoe Walk
February 10 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Join us for a guided snowshoe trek with a Mad River Glen naturalist as we learn about the ecology and wildlife that call Stark Mountain home!
While the trek will focus on bear signs and understanding bear hibernation, we’ll learn more generally about the Green Mountain forest and all its inhabitants.
This event is hosted on Mad River Glen property, and through the support of the the Mad River Valley Rotary Club, we will be covering the entry cost for all participants.
If you need to rent snowshoes, Mad River Glen is offering our group a discounted price of $15 for half-day rentals. We’d like this to be accessible to everyone, so indicate in your RSVP if you need assistance in paying the rental cost as we have funds to help with that as well!
