Design/Build Democracy: How Can Design Help Us Reimagine the Work Ahead?

With democracy’s future in question, a group of university faculty from Brown University, NYU, and Western Washington University will meet at Yestermorrow to ask what we might learn from design/build practices to inform our work as democratic/feminist theorists, organizers, or activists. The US Constitution is often called a blueprint. Are there approaches to planning that might better foster egalitarian and inclusive communities?
We’ll meet at 6:30 pm in the Yestermorrow Main Studio – 7865 Main Street, Waitsfield VT.
