Gopher Launch Party & 1 Year Celebration
May 30 @ 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Gopher, a new non-profit transportation service operated by Community Rides VT in Barre is celebrating one year of providing door-to-door rides in all electric vehicles for rural Vermonters throughout Washington County and neighboring towns in Orange County. Gopher it and help us celebrate at this free event.
All are welcome on May 30 in the garage behind Capstone for:
5:30 p.m.
Welcome by Gopher executive director Chris Cole, Capstone executive director Sue Minter, Gopher general manager Amanda Carlson, and U.S. Senator Peter Welch (invited)
4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
• Meet the drivers and staff.
• Take a ride in the electric SUVs.
• Learn about programs.
• Enjoy food by Capstone’s Community Kitchen Academy.
• Have a maple creemee by Silver Lake Syrups.
• Listen to New Orleans-style music by Back Porch Revival.
• Pick up some Gopher giveaways.
Register by May 24 to help with the food count.
