Mad River Chorale’s holiday concert this year has the sorely-needed theme, Peace on Earth. Music by FInzi, Buxtehude, Poulenc, Britten and Chilcott includes some familiar and some less-familiar music of the season. We are delighted to announce that the audience singalong of familiar carols and the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah will return after a three-year hiatus.
Our community chorus has received very positive responses from our audiences and music reviews. Conductor/musical director Mary Jane Austin and collaborative accompanist Alison Cerutti, along with vocal coach and operatic bass Erik Kroncke, prepare, support, and and perform with our group of central Vermont singers.
