Here’s your chance to try your hand at the potter’s wheel! This workshop will be offered the last Friday of every month (most months).

This is a one time, two hour introduction to learn the basics of wheel throwing.

You will be guided from a ball of clay to your first bowl or cup. Using a simple to understand process, you will learn the foundational techniques needed to enjoy this meditative and somewhat magical craft. Most students will successfully throw at least 2 pots which will be fired and finished by us, ready to pick up in approximately 3 weeks. If you throw more than 2 that you would like to keep we can finish them as well for $15/pot (first 2 are included). Shipping is available for additional fees.
