An annual test of fearlessness and speed, the Rockefeller Challenge is a downhill to uphill ski race. Starting on the Practice Slope, competitors try to carry their speed down a designated race lane and up the Rockefeller trail. Like the sport of ski jumping where the skier who goes the farthest wins, the person to makes it the furthest up the Rockefeller Trail, is victorious and crowned a racing titan. Proceeds to benefit MRG Ski Club.

Entry Fee: $25 entry

Field Limit: 100 competitors, all ages

Athlete Lift: Tentatively 4:20 pm

Event Begins: 4:30 pm

Other: Rockefeller and Racing Triple Crown shirts will be available for purchase at bib pickup on the day of the event. Clothing is required, no added weights, speedsuits, lycra or gravity enhancing devices!

The MRG Racing Triple Crown combines three celebrated legacy events and crowns an overall category champions!

1. 1. The Family Tournament is a family-friendly event where a competitor’s result is added together with other family members’ individual results to complete scoring and celebrate the fastest family combo.
   2. The storied Kandahar is MRG’s modern version of a full mountain ski race. It rewards those who can ski gates as well as terrain and conditions on the trail.
   3. The Rockefeller Challenge is a test of fearlessness and speed where competitors tuck straight downhill and glide uphill to find the skier who goes the furthest.
