Screening of Gone Guys Documentary

Join Mad River Mentoring and Hannah’s House on Wednesday, November 5th at the Big Picture Theater for a screening of the documentary Gone Guys. There will be a panel discussion following the film. 6-8p, doors open at 5:30.
Boys and young men are facing a growing crisis—falling behind in school, disengaging from work, and struggling with isolation, substance use, and mental health challenges.
This powerful 45-minute film brings Richard V. Reeves’ groundbreaking research to life through real stories, compelling data, and hopeful solutions. Set in rural Vermont, Gone Guys features young men, educators, and mentors working to re-engage boys and reshape futures.
It’s not a zero-sum issue—caring about boys doesn’t mean caring less about girls (or gender diverse youth). It means making room for everyone to thrive.
