The Warren Time Capsule Team is accepting items for the new community time capsule through August 29. Drop-off at the Town Clerk’s office, Warren Municipal Building, Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 4:00.

We want as much of our community represented as possible. Your contribution could be a letter to future generations, a photograph, a small piece of art, a meaningful object, or something completely unexpected. You never know what randomness or obscurity will be the most interesting thing someone finds in 50 years. Keep it small enough to fit in a Ziploc bag and avoid food, liquids, batteries, rubber, newsprint, wood, tape, leather, and anything wet.

Put your item in a sealed Ziploc bag with your name and contact info on the outside.

The capsule gets buried Saturday, September 12 at 3:30 PM in Warren Village, followed by a community picnic. The day also includes the Warren Village Cemetery Walk at 10 AM and the Vermont Jazz Ensemble on the pavilion at 5 PM. Come contribute, come celebrate, come be a part of the history.
