A River Runs Through It (ARRTI) Garden Club of Waterbury Vermont will be hosting a Garden Tour on Sunday, July 16th 2023, 9 AM – 3 PM, rain or shine .
ARRTI will be showcasing 7 beautiful Vermont gardens located in and around town of Waterbury and Waterbury Center. The gardens chosen for this self-guided tour include a variety of interesting ecological settings such as riverside, brookside, mountainside, sun, and shade gardens. Most of the gardens are located at private homes but we’re also excited to include the Waterbury Public Library’s Book Garden on this tour.
Site maps and details will be sent on Saturday evening July 15th, the evening before the event.
Parking is limited in some locations so carpooling is encouraged and highly recommended. Most of the gardens are located at private residences on dirt roads. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while touring the gardens and attending the sale. Please leave your pets at home.
During the garden tour hours, ARRTI will also be holding a Plant and Garden Paraphernalia Sale, which will be held on the lawn at the Wesley United Methodist Church located at 56 S. Main St., Waterbury, VT. Garden tour attendees and the general public are welcome to stop at this central location for information, refreshments and to purchase plants and gardening-related items for sale. All proceeds benefit ARRTI community grants, programs and garden projects.
