Wild Woogs Children’s Workshop!
October 18 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Join Wild Woogs on Oct 18th, from 3:30-5:30pm, for a creative afternoon of gettin’ Woogy!
In this two hour workshop Natalie from Wild Woogs will be guiding kids to create their own Woog, made from socks, stuffing, felt, buttons, needles, thread, yarn , etc.! They will brainstorm together “Woog characteristics” (spikes? teeth? and more).
Kids will be introduced to light hand sewing techniques and creative ways to reuse old materials such as socks, fabric scraps etc. They will be encouraged to let their imaginations run wild!
This “woogshop” is recommended for kids 6 yrs and older. Kids need to be able to hold and cut with scissors on their own. (Parents are welcome to accompany their child if they think they will need help with that skill.)
