Each and every organism leaves behind a trace of its presence, the history of its life written upon the landscape. We must only learn how to read their stories.
Join Dave Muska of Ondatra Adventures and Friends of the Mad River to explore the art of wildlife tracking. In this class, you’ll be introduced to basic tracking skills and concepts such as clear print identification, gait & track patterns, animal sign, as well as techniques to develop and further your skills of tracking. The workshop will be structured in two halves: the first half will cover tracking fundamentals at an approachable pace while the second half will venture further afield, practicing skills and deepening the knowledge gained.
This is a great class for anyone who wishes to deepen their experience with the natural world. All ages (children accompanied by an adult) are welcome.
Registration is required! This event has a capacity of about 20 people, so attendees need to register ahead of time to secure their spot. Register at https://forms.gle/UJDEGqt9efr2JcN99.
