Artists are generously donated their work created just for this event to raise funds for Mad Arts \nMarch 6 to March 20 – works on exhibit at the Gallery\, Tuesday through Saturday 1 to 5pm.\nFriday\, March 21\, 5 to 7 p.m. all ticket holders go home with an original work of art. \n100 tickets will be sold for 100 pieces of art. Purchasers will be randomly assigned a number at the reception on March 21 to choose their piece.

DESCRIPTION:Here’s your chance to try your hand at the potter’s wheel! This workshop will be offered the last Friday of every month (most months). \nThis is a one time\, two hour introduction to learn the basics of wheel throwing. \nYou will be guided from a ball of clay to your first bowl or cup. Using a simple to understand process\, you will learn the foundational techniques needed to enjoy this meditative and somewhat magical craft. Most students will successfully throw at least 2 pots which will be fired and finished by us\, ready to pick up in approximately 3 weeks. If you throw more than 2 that you would like to keep we can finish them as well for $15/pot (first 2 are included). Shipping is available for additional fees.
