DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to host winemaker Riccardo Baldi of La Staffa winery in The Tasting Room. He’ll be visiting us all the way from the rolling hills of Staffolo (Ancona) in Italy’s Marche region. At a young age\, Baldi devoted himself to his family’s old vineyards and introduced to La Staffa biodynamic methods\, working with indigenous yeast and aging in concrete tanks. Over the course of this wine tasting event\, Baldi will share with guests his beautiful wines\, and it is sure to be a special evening for those with a passion for wine and winemaking.

It’s an unforgettable ode to the bond between caregiver and child. \nFollowing the reading\, Kate will lead children through a very special Chickadee craft! \nKATE HOSFORD grew up in Waitsfield\, Vermont\, and attended Amherst College. In 2011\, Kate completed her MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Kate is the author of six picture books and two poetry collections\, garnering awards such as an American Library Association Notable Book and a New York Times Best Illustrated Book. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her family.
