WATA is the Taproom’s Sunshine Fund recipient from January 16th through 31st. \nThis Guided Snowshoe/Nordic Ski will give participants the opportunity to see this property\, its incredible views and learn more about the proposed recreation resources that the Sunshine Fund is helping to create.\n\n\nRSVP With This Form \nWhere: Meet at 420 Stevens Brook Road\, Moretown \n\nWhen: Noon on Sunday\, January 26\nWhat: 3-Mile Round Trip Snowshoe Tour up to the 14 acre meadow. If time allows we will continue up to the gazebo with Camel’s Hump and Mount Mansfield views.\nRecommended Equipment: Snowshoes or Nordic Skis. We will be on an unplowed and ungroomed access road. If the conditions change\, micro spikes maybe recommend instead.\nApres Plan: We will head back to the Lawson’s Finest Taproom for beverages and a map presentation of the planned trail network and recreation resources from 4:00-5:30.\n

SUMMARY:Chicky Stoltz Vinyl Release Party
DESCRIPTION:5:00pm to 8:00pm come to the taproom for the vinyl release of Chicky Stoltz’s Polecat. Featuring a live show from Chicky Stoltz and the Charlie Nobles from 5:00 to 7:00 and then a start to end listen of the full-length album starting at 7:00. \nChicky Stoltz is a reflective mountain man. High in the Green Mountains of Vermont\, he would prefer to think of himself now as more storyteller than a musician. He holds the music in the highest regard. \nTo be fair\, he has spent nearly four decades out there as a musician. Singer\, drummer\, guitarist\, one-man band. Bars and halls\, good and bad. Shared the stage with and opened for many of the best (Patti Smith\, Paw\, Duke Robillard\, etc.) but now prefers the company of himself to make music happen. \nSome have mentioned Tom Waits\, Bruce Springsteen\, and Jonathan Richman when listening to his music. Chicky was most honored when someone referenced filmmaker David Lynch when referring to his music. Thrilling for sure. \nThe music explores many fictional stories of fraud\, land development/environmentalism\, technology\, and death. Somehow done with tongue squarely in cheek. \nChicky’s fifth album\, Polecat\, is a full length studio retrospective covering material from his first four home studio albums. Made with great friends from 2022 to 2024; it is a lifetime goal achieved and available in all the places.
