Don’t hesitate to call Kolleen at 802-377-1742 or email kolleenkintz@gmail.com with any questions.\n\n\nKolleen Kintz attended Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre in 2010. They have performed with the DC Fringe Festival\, Zip Zap Circus and regularly at Clown Cabaret. In 2014\, the duo traveled to Haiti to volunteer with Clowns Without Borders and performed for over 5000 children. Kolleen later became a hospital clown for Healthy Humor and made rounds as Dr. Pickle at Johns Hopkins for 6 years.\n\nKolleen & Bobby Kintz have been teaching artists since 2013. Beginning their journey with the instruction of 3 & 4 year olds\, in Del Ray\, VA. Later developing their own circus camp for ages 5-13\, which ran in Baltimore at Morgan State University for 5 years. More recently\, the journey has been parenthood! SUMMARY:Waitsfield Development Review Board (4th Tuesday)
DESCRIPTION:MEETINGS\n\nThe DRB meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month\, 7:00 PM\, at the Waitsfield Town Office. Members are urged to let staff know as early as possible if they will be unable to attend a scheduled meeting so arrangements can be made to ensure a quorum. \nAgendas and Minutes \nMeeting Calendar (2023) \n\n\n\n\nDUTIES\n\nThe Waitsfield Development Review Board was established in 2007 by a resolution that transferred the development review functions of both the Planning Commission and the former Zoning Board of Adjustment to the new DRB.  The DRB’s responsibilities are laid out in both the Vermont State Statutes\, the Waitsfield Zoning Bylaws\, and the Waitsfield Subdivision Regulations. \nThe DRB performs an important and difficult job\, which is carried out by volunteers appointed by the Selectboard.  It is through this review of individual applications that the community’s vision\, goals\, policies\, and priorities–as expressed in the Waitsfield Town Plan and codified in our development regulations–are implemented.  At the same time\, DRB members and others participating in the process must respect due process\, the rights of applicants\, and the rights of the public to participate. \nThe DRB has the following duties (see 24 V.S.A. Section 4460): \n(1) Review of right-of-way or easement for land development without frontage as authorized in 24 V.S.A. 4412(3); (2) Review of land development or use within an historic district or with respect to historic landmarks as authorized in 24 V.S.A. 4414(1)(F)\n(3) Review of land development or use within a design control district as authorized in 24 V.S. A. 4414(1)(E);\n(4) Review of proposed conditional uses as authorized in 24 V.S. A. 4414(3);\n(5) Review of planned unit developments as authorized in 24 V.S.A. 4417;\n(6) Review of requests for waivers as authorized in 24 V.S.A. 4414(9);\n(7) Site plan review as authorized in 24 V.S.A. 4416;\n(8) Review of proposed subdivisions as authorized in 24 V.S.A. 4418;\n(9) Review of wireless telecommunications facilities as authorized in 24 V.S.A. 4414(12);\n(10) Appeals from a decision of the administrative officer pursuant to 24 V.S.A. 4465;\n(11) Review of requests for variances pursuant to 24 V.S.A. 4469; and\n(12) Any other reviews required by the bylaws.

SUMMARY:Poetry in the garden – an evening of poetry and plants
DESCRIPTION:To see the Summer Sky\nIs Poetry\, though never in a Book it lie—\nTrue Poems flee—\n– Emily Dickinson \nAs humans\, we process the world through art\, through story. And since humans could first utter words\, word has been a means of both connecting with and understanding our natural world. Join us for an evening of poetry & plants at ShareMRV’s garden as we share poems that speak of the natural world\, and take inspiration from the garden to write some of our own. \nValley Reporter journalist and incredible local writer Erika Nichols-Frazer (whose recent memoir\, Feed Me\, was released in December 2022\, with an upcoming collection of poetry to be published in August)\, as well as garden manager Marissa Alfiero\, will be sharing relevant poems and leading us through prompts to spark creativity. We’ll tour through the garden\, and see how the bright growth of its inhabitants\, plant— insect\, and soil alike—inspire us. \nPlease bring a chair or a blanket to sit on if you’d like\, water\, writing utensils\, and your favorite notebook. Light refreshments will be provided. And do feel free to bring favorite works of your own to share! \nWe look forward to celebrating together the greatest poems never to be put on paper — the very existence and lives of our beloved plant kin.\nFREE; no sign-up required. SUMMARY:Willy Wonka at the Valley Players
DESCRIPTION:Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory\, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats: the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket\, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka’s rules in the factory… or suffer the consequences. SUMMARY:4th of July Weekend at Sugarbush Resort
DESCRIPTION:Unanimously voted the #1 Fourth of July Parade by everyone on the planet\, the Warren Parade offers an ever-evolving\, engaging and (often/sometimes) humorous take on our independence. You’ll want to be in Warren Village before 10 AM on the 4th to grab a spot along the route\, but don’t wait until Tuesday to enjoy the festivities. We’ve got an entire weekend of fun for you with four days of live music\, lift rides\, swimming holes\, parties\, fireworks\, and even a snow gun waterfall. (You’ll have to come up to Lincoln Peak so see what that is.) Checkout the schedule below. \nParade Shuttle Bus Schedule: School buses will begin running from Lincoln Peak to Warren Village at 8am. Lincoln Peak pick up is at the bus stops in front of Clay Brook Hotel. Take the earlier buses as it gets more crowded as the clock nears 10am (parade kick off). The bus stop in Warren Village is at the top of Covered Bridge Road. Buses will run throughout the day between Lincoln Peak and Warren Village with the final return trip to Lincoln Peak at 4pm. Sorry\, no dogs\, except service dogs\, allowed on the buses. \nJoin PAWSitive Pantry at their annual 4th of July Pet Parade and show off your pet in their best costume. We will have fun games\, giveaways\, and prizes. There is a $10 registration donation which will be due before you attend the event. For those that can’t attend the event in person\, PAWSitive Pantry is partnering with GO GO Pet Photo and you can submit your best photo and our community will vote on the winning pictures.
