DESCRIPTION:WILD PINK is a group show about the natural and cultural relationship of the ancient color PINK. There is certainly no dearth of pink in the natural world or in human culture. We accessorize\, cosmeticize\, gender-ize and interiorize to the point of being ‘tickled pink’. In the animal and floral world pink as hue and shade exists multifold. Whether to shock\, protest or code the millennials\, pink has survived the test of time. This show examines the fluid origins of PINK in ‘natural’ and/or ‘cultural’ contexts. This is open media\, interdisciplinary\, multimedia\, installation\, all contemporary crafts and design arts in two/three dimensions for the wall and floor. \nReception & Artist talks: Sept. 26th\, 5-7pm

Bring your family\, friends\, and appetite and Join us in making a difference! \n(Mad River Mentoring is a community-based mentoring program for young people\, 8-18\, in the Harwood Union School District. We carefully match adult volunteers with youth based on interests and hobbies.
