DESCRIPTION:This gentle and fun yoga class is designed specifically for a parent or caregiver and their children\, ages 18 months to 4 years. Older children are welcome too! \nPoses like butterfly\, downward dog\, tree\, forest\, bug\, cat\, cow and lion will bring smiles and creativity. They also promote balance\, coordination\, motor skills and mindfulness. Through visuals and words\, e will introduce and/or reinforce mechanisms for movement\, independence and stress relief. And of course … some giggles too. \nBrought to you in partnership: Inklings Children’s Books and Salt & Sand Studios. Salt & Sand’s Karen McPhillips will lead the yoga. DESCRIPTION:WILD PINK is a group show about the natural and cultural relationship of the ancient color PINK. There is certainly no dearth of pink in the natural world or in human culture. We accessorize\, cosmeticize\, gender-ize and interiorize to the point of being ‘tickled pink’. In the animal and floral world pink as hue and shade exists multifold. Whether to shock\, protest or code the millennials\, pink has survived the test of time. This show examines the fluid origins of PINK in ‘natural’ and/or ‘cultural’ contexts. For music we will have Ragged Company playing from 2:30-4:30pm and Pappy Biondo and The Pards will play from 5 till dark. For food vendors we will have Alladins Food Truck\, Union Brook Farm and Yuko’s Wildflower Sushi:) For refreshments you can count on Lawson’s for tasty beers and Bar Hill Gin will be here as well! There will be kids activities and an opportunity to bring your own\, clean t-shirt to get the EWCM logo printed on it for a small fee. Bring chairs\, blankets and umbrellas (just in case) and tell all of your friends. This is an event to both mark our 15th anniversary and celebrate the retirement of our most tenured employee\, Robin Lehman. Please join us!!!
