DESCRIPTION:Mark the calendar for the Great Rotary Duck Race on September 3 at the Lareau Swim Hole. \nThe Mad River Valley Rotary Club is bringing the duck race back to The Valley. For the last dozen years\, the club has raised funds for the scholarships and grants it provides to Mad River Valley students and organizations with this event. In total\, over $100\,000 has been provided to the Mad River Valley courtesy of this fund raiser.\nJoin the Mad River Valley Rotary Club on September 3 at the Lareau Swim Hole for the quack of the starting gun as the racers head down the river. The sponsor of the winning duck will receive $1000 with second and third prizes of $500 and $250. \nDuck Race starts promptly at 3pm but bring the family for fun starting at 1pm with music\, food\, kids activities and more. The event will be a quacking good time for all with music and food at the start so don’t duck out\, sponsor a duck and join the fun!
