The program celebrates summer and the coming change of seasons with music ranging from Yukie Smith’s “Scent of Summer” to “Fisherman’s Song” by Jean Sibelius. Other composers whose music is featured in the concert include Robert Schumann\, Isaac Albeniz\, Felix Mendelssohn and Franz Liszt. \nThe musicians will also present two pieces by Christopher McWilliams: “En Septembre” from his “Tableaux d’une exposition”\, and his two-movement “Trio for Flute\, Violin and Piano based on two poems by France Preseren”. Admission is free\, with donations to benefit Capstone Community Action.
