DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered which bird is making what sound in the overwhelming chorus of song this time of year? \nThen join the Moretown Library and the Mad Birders for our 9th annual Birding By Ear workshops. \nWe will meet indoors on Saturday afternoon to learn the basics of identifying bird song\, then practice these skills on an outdoor walk Sunday morning. \nBoth sessions are free\, and all ages are welcome.

SUMMARY:Bread and Puppet Museum Opening
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a celebratory afternoon of performances\, bread\, and museum appreciation to mark the beginning of the summer season at the Bread & Puppet farm. The Open House will begin at the Museum’s entrance where local singers will gather to sing songs in the “Shape Note” tradition\, an early American sacred singing tradition with deep roots in Vermont\, in four-part harmony. Next\, the Museum will receive its ceremonial opening for the season: the museum guard will be woken up and reinstalled at his post for the summer\, ready to greet the public. Guest performances will feature throughout the afternoon\, concluding with a brand new Bread & Puppet show! \nTickets: $15\, no one turned away for lack of funds. \n*Capacity is limited at our indoor shows* \n\nMuseum Opening 06.01.25 2 p.m.
