Come hear stories from outdoor enthusiasts and expert shredders on how they pursue their passion without traveling to the ends of the earth. And\, if you’re game\, share your own adventures in an Open Mic storytelling component of the evening. You’ll also have a chance to connect with other backcountry enthusiasts\, as we work to identify goals and actions that let us pursue our passion while also taking action on the climate crisis. \nPizza and salad available during apres. DESCRIPTION:MRVBC is a long-standing partner with Winter Wildlands Alliance screening the Backcountry Film Festival for 5 straight years. This event has sold out every year with proceeds supporting MRVBC programming and the Catamount Trail Association Youth Programs. MRVBC is pleased to have donated several thousands of dollars to the programs on behalf of the Mad River Valley backcountry community. The film festival tours 100+ cities and mountain towns\, hosted by SnowSchool sites\, local retailers\, grassroots recreation and conservation groups\, outdoor affinity groups\, and many more community organizations.\nSaturday\, December 6th\, 2025.
