Nikko Sedgwick\, a mixed media painter\, uses family snapshots to tell a more hidden story. Carl D’Alvia’s bronze sculptures finds abstract questions in familiar shapes. Now You See Me asks us to discover the space between what is seen and what may be forever hidden from view. \nThese mature artists use figuration to create a sensory content that connects them to each other and to the viewer within the expansive space of the Bundy Modern Gallery \nThe Bundy Modern\, a 1962 International Style\, architectural gem in the woods\, is located at 361 Bundy Rd\, Waitsfield\, just 2 miles south of town off Route 100. DESCRIPTION:The 12th annual Green Mountain Watercolor Exhibition has works from 85 artists from all over the country including paintings from the Whiskey Painters of America. The exhibition has received past recognition in the international magazine The Art of Watercolour and has developed the reputation of presenting the most contemporary styles of watercolor. Richard Russell Sneary AWS\, NWS\, nationally recognized watercolor artist\, returns to serve as judge of awards. \nThe show is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 4-9pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 12-9 pm through July 20th.

The Whole Kit and Caboodle Show runs Sundays June 9th-July 7th at 3 p.m. in the Papier Maché Cathedral at the Bread and Puppet farm\, 753 Heights Rd\, Glover\, VT. \nAbout this show Peter Schumann says\, “We\, the Whole Kit & Caboodle bread bakers\, peace and harmony terrorists and criminal trespassers of the fascist empire offer anti-hospital-bombing calisthenics in the face of the Freedom and Democracy Bullshitters\, and precise funeral rites for the collapsing Western Civilization and make our divine paper maché weaponry\, as retrieved from the cardboard industry’s available refuse to defeat the capitalist hegemony and celebrate a brand-new humanity with appropriate victory dances and demonstrate our birthright as children of the one and only Mother Dirt\, who makes us and unmakes us and now requires our full undivided attention.” \nBread and Puppet’s Cheap Art – books\, posters\, postcards\, pamphlets and banners from the Bread and Puppet Press – will be for sale in the Bread & Puppet Museum Store throughout the event. \nTickets for this and other summer shows are $10 each.
