The Preservation Trust of Vermont is a nonprofit organization that\, for nearly 50 years\, has helped Vermonters save the historically and culturally significant buildings they love — whether that’s a general store\, a jewel-box theater\, or a humble barn. We do this work through technical assistance\, grant funding\, and steady encouragement. This presentation will provide an overview of our work and highlight some of the key considerations when undertaking community-based historic preservation projects. \nThis talk is presented as part of our Spring 2026 Speaker Series. All talks are free and open to the public\, and take place Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8 pm. No registration required\, just drop by. Meet on top of the Sunnyside Double starting at 11AM\, the Easter Bunny will then lead you down to the egg hunt.
