It also reveals the power of one song to express and sustain identity\, to transmit lessons across generations and to bridge cultural divides and connect us all on a universal level. Featuring interviews with Harry Belafonte\, Connie Francis\, Glen Campbell\, Leonard Nimoy\, Regina Spektor and more\, Hava Nagila (The Movie) follows the song from the shtetls of Eastern Europe to the kibbutzim of Palestine to the cul-de-sacs of America.\n\n \nJCOGS is hosting the film and a dance party in the tent under the stars with the JCOGS band\, dance instruction and Israeli inspired desserts. There are season patron tickets available on the JCOGS website as well as individual tickets. A versatile musician performing a mix of originals and covers\, Madigan plays acoustic guitar\, ukulele and piano but is best known for her velvety\, tender vocal style and original songwriting. Madigan took first place in Padavano’s Place 2018 Singer-Songwriter contest by performing 3 original songs including her Christmas song\, Snow Falls. Victor Infante of the Worcester Telegram wrote that she “…has a way of focusing on the joy her persona finds in other people’s delight\, a perspective that skirts the consumerism of the season.”
