DESCRIPTION:Sundays\, July 13-August 31 at 3pm \nThe company presents Our Domestic Revolution in Progress\, a brand new show in the tradition of the iconic Bread & Puppet Circuses that began at Goddard College in Plainfield\, Vermont in 1970.  As usual\, the show will draw on traditional circus tropes and familiar Bread and Puppet iconography to draw attention to the urgent issues of the day. Stilt dancers\, paper maché beasts of all sizes and a riotous brass band make a raucous\, colorful spectacle of protest and celebration. \nAfter the show Bread & Puppet will serve its famous sourdough rye bread with aioli\, and Bread & Puppet’s “Cheap Art” – books\, posters\, postcards\, pamphlets and banners from the Bread & Puppet Press – will be for sale prior and after the show. \nTickets: $15\, no one turned away for lack of funds.\nhttps://breadandpuppet.org/on-the-farm \nDogs are discouraged\, though well behaved dogs on leash are allowed. If you bring your dog\, PLEASE SIT IN THE BACK of the audience\, at the top of the amphitheater\, as far away as possible from the brass band and bring plenty of water (there is none onsite). Dogs are not able to attend our indoor performances.

DESCRIPTION:The Dale and Darcy band is composed of veteran acoustic musicians who play together at farmer’s markets\, fairs\, fes­tivals\, weddings\, in bars and taverns and anywhere people appreciate a lively tune. \nTheir music is clean\, crisp and clear. They have entertained guests every Saturday at The Von Trapp Family Brewery and Bakery for the past five summers and it is during that time that they developed the sweet harmonies  and uncomplicated tunes you will find on their album. The tenor banjo\, fiddles\, mandolin\, guitar and vocals create a sound that is pleasing to listen to\, to dance to or to have playing quietly in the background. While some of the tunes are familiar favorites\, others are simply their favorites\, the tunes that have made a lasting impression on us all.

SUMMARY:Build Your Own Cutting Board
DESCRIPTION:Build your own hardwood edge-grain cutting board or charcuterie board from start to finish! In this class\, you will gain experience with the table saw\, jointer\, and planer to prepare the components of your cutting board. \nThis course will take place in 2 evening sessions on Tuesday July 15 and Thursday July 17 from 6-9 pm. \nIn the first session\, we’ll then learn how to properly glue those pieces together into a rough panel. In session two\, we will trim and shape those boards\, use the router table to add customized edge details\, and sand and oil the boards. You will finish the class with a ready-to-use 11”x17” (maximum size) cutting board.
