Open Hearth After School Kids is in its 14th successful year of
providing care, support, and enrichment to the children of the Mad River Valley.
In 2021-2022, OHASK will be offering our regular after school program, serving kindergarten through 6th grade students from 2:30 – 5:30 daily. Additionally, we are offering a program for 3 – 5 year olds (preschool students) from 12:30 – 2:30 or 12:30 – 5:30 T/Th/F and 2:30 – 5:30 on M/ W, matching the Waitsfield preschool program schedule.
** OHASK K-6 has postponed programming due to staffing shortage. Please read update from OHASK Steering Committee and Director below!
Tuition for the 2021-2022 year will be $20/day ($40/day for the 12:30 – 5:30 pk program) .
Masks will be required at all times when not outdoors and when 6 feet of social distancing cannot be maintained. We will follow state guidance regarding all other COVID-19 safety measures. To meet these needs we will be outside as much as possible, rain or shine.
If WES or the program is forced to close temporarily due to COVID, parents will be responsible for payment of tuition for up to two weeks. If we’re forced to remain closed longer than two weeks, the program will close temporarily and tuition will not be required. We will work diligently to notify families as soon as possible of any anticipated closures.
