DESCRIPTION:The Green Mountain Shred-A-Thon is a High Fives Foundation pledge-driven event that is held each spring at the world’s greatest resort. On Sunday\, March 3th\, 2024 participants will begin after having gathered pledges like NASCAR racing chasing sponsorships. Each participant will challenge themselves to hot laps as many times as possible from first to the last chair. Awards are given out for a variety of categories. There will be a vendor village\, live DJ\, lunch provided for participants\, and an all-around great party in the name of philanthropy! WHAT IS A SKI-A-THON? Enjoy an interactive\, engaging\, and community focused fundraising experience! RAISE FUNDS AHEAD OF TIME Reach out to your network and ask for donations in honor of the High Fives mission\, spreading the word through social media\, email\, word of mouth\, telegram\, smoke signal\, whatever you have access to. WIN AWESOME PRIZES We have partnered with like-minded brands to offer participants the chance to win a whole slew of gear based on fundraising goals and day of participation. This series of three Shred-a-thons\, spanning across three states in the US\, plays a pivotal role in contributing over $720\,000 to the Foundation’s annual budget\, supporting their mission of creating awareness and making a difference in the lives of athletes and veterans. \nFrom the moment it’s announced until the Ski-a-Thon day\, participants aim to raise as much money as possible individually or as teams.
