DESCRIPTION:Spring is stirring\, and you’re invited to gather in the Living Tree Alliance sugar bush for a joyful afternoon celebrating the spring equinox\, the flowing maple sap of Vermont\, and Nissan a season of renewal and new beginnings in the Jewish calendar. \nThis family friendly community celebration will be filled with hands-on activities\, sweet treats\, and the magic of the sugaring season. \n🍁 Taste the season \nWatch the Crowley family’s traditional maple sugaring operation in action and sample fresh sap and syrup straight from the source. \n🎨 Crafts & creativity \nEnjoy wreath making and festive face painting. \n🎭 Community theater \nStep into our whimsical “everyone plays a part” production—featuring singers\, drummers\, little sprouts\, and more—as we come together to awaken Mother Earth and welcome the arrival of spring. \n🔥 Fireside treats \nWarm up with fresh bread and syrup while gathering around the fire to celebrate the sweetness of community. \nHibernation season is over—let’s welcome spring together! \nThe sugar house is located behind the field\, about a 10–15 minute walk from the parking area\, so please plan a little extra time to enjoy the stroll. Muck boots and waterproof gear are highly recommended—spring mud is almost guaranteed. \nLiving Tree Alliance welcomes everyone on a pay-what-you-can basis. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the deep beauty of mid-winter with Living Tree Alliance as we gather to honor the holiday of Tu BiShvat\, the birthday of the trees. With programs for all ages\, we’ll plant seeds of stewardship and intergenerational community-building \nOutdoor family program. Led by primitive skills mentor Elliot Cluba of Herbs and Arrows and Living Tree Education Director Melanie Grubman\, we’ll connect with the holiday through storytelling\, forest games and tracking. \nMusic for little ones. Ms Andrea of Musical Munchkins will lead a joyful musical program for young children.\nA few more details:Contemplative walk/showshoe for adults. \nLed by Kohenet Sephirah Oshkello\, we’ll walk or snowshoe through the woods on a contemplative journey while appreciating and connecting with the tree community that lives here. \nBe sure to dress warmly for outdoor activities.\nIf there’s snow\, you’re invited to bring sleds\, skiis\, and snowshoes for outdoor fun on the property.

DESCRIPTION:Living Tree Alliance’s camps immerse children in the life of the homestead\, rivers and forests through farming\, cooking\, nature crafts\, swimming\, and forest and field games. In the afternoon\, participants explore the forest through play\, fort building and of course spend ample time splashing in the Mad River and Dowsville Creek. Preschoolers will be welcome this week. Please inquire about paying per diem if a child can not attend for the week.
