SUMMARY:Informational Meeting and Update from the Clean Water Committee re the Moretown village wastewater project.
DESCRIPTION:The Moretown Clean Water Committee will provide an update for town residents on its effort to site and design a wastewater treatment system for Moretown Village and surrounding area on Tuesday\, April 16\, 2024 at 7 pm at the Moretown Elementary School. \nThe committee has been working with Otter Creek Engineering and the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation to locate sites where a system could be installed\, and on different design options for such a system. The presentation will also include an update on the status of the $3.55 million funding that is available to the Town for the project. \nPlease join us for the presentation and to share your questions and comments about the study and its results to date.
