DESCRIPTION:In preparation for Denim Day\, we are hosting a Paint Party! Bring a pair of denim and paint/decorate it to wear on Denim Day. Join us and create purpose with your art by painting a message or design showing your support for survivors of sexual violence. \n*Please bring your own denim\, paint & other materials will be provided. \nDenim Day in recognized in response to an Italian Supreme Court ruling to overturn a rape conviction because the justices felt that since the victim was wearing tight jeans she must have helped the person who raped her remove them\, thereby implying consent. In response\, a campaign was created to show visible means of protest against the misconceptions that surround sexual violence. \nLearn more at denimday.org
