Based in the Hatha tradition, each class in this 8-class series focuses on one or more of the body’s 7 chakras, or energy centers. Classes include a variaty of yoga asanas, meditations, pranayama as well as a brief discussion of an element of the chakra system. These classes are suitable for every student, including beginners and more experienced yoga practitioners, and for every body. Come experience a personal opening as you watch the meadow behind the studio enjoy a warm spring awakening. Preregistration is required. Students may attend any one or all of the classes.
This final class in the series will be followed by a small celebration in which class participants can share a snack and make a beaded chakra bracelet for themselves or to give to a loved one.
